My in-laws bought this in the 1970\'s era. When they retired, they would travel out west and along the way they would buy paintings from the local artists of the places they visited. On the back of the frame they wrote the date they bought it February 20, 1977. The frame is solid wood and an antique gold finish. I should have dusted it before I photographed it, but it is in excellent condition as well as the painting. If you love the Rocky Mountains, this is a great painting for your home. 32 x 27.5 including the frame. 20 x 24 canvas size. It is signed. Names is hard to decipher. Looks like M. Swan. There is an American artist by the name of Martin Swan but can\'t know for sure if it is the same person.
