Cute old 11\" Black bisque doll. All bisque in low-fired type bisque, sometimes called pipe clay. No Marks. Flaw or slight damage, stress crackat top part of one leg - see picture. Molded negroid features. Looks as if there is molded hair under the caracul wig but not colored. I am not sure of the origin of this doll - might be German or more likely English. Old caracul wig, oldred calico dress with 2 pearl buttons with hand made button holes, white cotton drawers. Cute different doll, kind of reminds me of Farina or Buckwheat from Little Rascals.
