This item is an old estate found 1936 hand made, sterling knobed, gnarly wooden 40 inch walking stick, made for or by, Dr. C.C. Merrell of Reno, NV, with the walking stick in excellent lightly used condition. Walking stick is made of what apparently is locally available wood, of a kind that I cannot identify, and it is very gnarly. The knob is obviously hand made sterling silver, but is not marked as to maker or silver content. Both sterling knob and body of stick are marked with \'Dr. C.C. Merrell, Reno, Nevada, 1936\', as we are showing in the attached photos, and the stick is exactly as pictured and described.See images for more details.
