Here we have a beautiful art deco copper kettle much in the style of Christopher Dresser in shape and form also known a a boat or barge kettle due to it stability when on the water
Thought to date around 1920 / 1940s and possibly produced in France.Unusual with its diamond shaped with bakelite handle and lid knob.It stands about 20cm ( 8\" ) high and is about 25cm ( 9.75\" ) long from spout to back and the base being about 17cm ( 6.75\" ) along the four sides , and it holds about 2 - 2.5 pints of water.
It would make a very attractive useable kitchen item or a very beautiful ornament. Or a nice collectible piece of kitchenware.
