For Sale: Early American Brass Eagle Sculpture, once upon a time ithungonthe wall of a US post office. I have been told by an antiques expert that this piece is from awell knownsculptor,but I cant recall the artist\'sname. Itdates tothe mid to late 1800\'s. Theentire piecehas a beautiful original patina. The back of the wingseach have the letters JP inscribed on them, which are the initials of the artist, andthewords US POSTwhich are faint, small, and almost indistinguishable.
