Antique Wall Clock

Description:

Presented for your consideration is this neat antique wall clock. Made by Gilbert, this clock features a lacquered, carved light oak case with glass over the dial and pendulum. Pendulum door reads \"Standard Time\" in gold lettering. Brass is around the outer edge of the dial. The dial is paper with Arabic numerals around the outer edge for the calendar and Roman numerals for the time. A red hand indicates the day on the calendar and black hands indicate the time. Along the bottom edge of the dial is marked with \"Made by The Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. Winsted, Conn. U.S.A.\" Back of the clock has the original Gilbert label which gives instructions on how to use and care for the clock. This label also states this is the \"Admiral\" model clock from Gilbert. Comes with a key and pendulum. This nice antique clock would make a great addition to any clock or time piece collection!
The clock is not currently running. It will wind but does not run. Glass is slightly loose over the dial. A small chip is out of the edge of the glass over the dial as well. Paper dial shows some wear. Overall the clock is in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the best details.
Measures 17 3/4\" wide, 4 1/2\" deep and 27 1/2\" long.
