The violin has hadsome repairs throughout its long years of service. All appear to be stable. There ishowever asmall chip to the C-curve edge of the rightupper bout. This does not in anyway affect the sound of this instrument.There are no sound post or base bar cracks. Please look over the photos closely, as they are the best record of what has been done. The violin is ready to play and fully set up with an Aubert bridge andnew set of strings.

The tone is pleasant and bright with good projection.

I\'ve done somecomps withsimilar violins and based on my research, thisviolinwould be worthabout $2,000 USD.
