Old Antique Vintage Farm Grain Silo Conveyer Belt with 3 Scoop Metal Buckets :

This is from an 100+ year old prune farm near where I live in Oregon. One picture shows the 2 large wooden pulleys that were used to move these conveyor belt mounted \"scoops\" from the floor of the barn to a feed silo. The scoops would fill at the bottom and when they reached the top pulley they would flip for the ride down, emptying the grain into the silo. The farm has fallen into disrepair, the equipment has sat idle for decades.
I aquired the pulleys and the belt, but not before someone cut the belt into pieces, 3 scoops each. I plan on recreating the belt system here in my home, as decor. I am not going to use all the pieces, so I am offering a few here on . I do see another seller offering them as well. I will ask a considerably lower opening offer on mine. Your welcome.
This conveyor was fabricated by the farmer. The scoops do not all match, may differ in sizes slightly, and may not be perfectly spaced. It was meant for work, not decoration. So, that aside, the pieces being offered here is about 29 inches long, just shy of 8 inches wide. Please refer to the pictures, I have included a tape measure in a few of them.
At this time, I do not know how many I will have to offer here on . I will have a few, so can combine shipping if someone needs/wants more than one belt (set of 3 buckets). Just send a message to ask what is available. The scoop set shown in the first pictures has been sold but they are all basically alike. If you see another you like in the group photos you can have a different one, or how ever many you need, provided I have enough left for my recreated belt project. All offered are 3 scoops on the length of belt.
This belt can use a good cleaning. I may do that with another piece soon, but this one is as I found it.
There are many creative ways to use these. They will hold air, diamonds or flowers. They will hold anything that will fit and does not defy gravity. Let your imagination go wild. Then, when friends see it, they will say... \"Wow! THAT is SOO Clever!!\"I fade away....slowly....
