Fine Old ChineseCeladon NephriteJade Statue/Netsuke/Pendant. Carved with a fairy boy holding abasket of plum blossom in hands. Besides, it was also designed with a branch of ruyi over the boy\'s shoulder. Plum blossom grows vividly in cold winter which is the symbol of braveness and noble character. Ruyi means "everything goes smooth." The motif is very auspicious. Top quality nephrite jade with nice old polish. The craftmanship is very elegant as you can see from the photos. Attractive natural celadon color with natural brown veining inside the stone. It will be a good gift as well as a cute collection.
