Old Chinese Scroll Painting. Very interesting subject matter of Scholar / Teacher & Children. It appears that a young boy has fallen short in his studies and is crying. Other class members look on with various dispositions. Two red seal marks and some calligraphy to upper right. Total scroll length is approx. 37\"h x 16.5\"w. Actual viewing artwork surface is approx. 16.75\"h x 11.75\"w. Watercolor on paper laid down on patterned silk front border with paper type backing. Gold silk accents upper and lower watercolor area. Very good condition with some yellowing, several small mini-spots and a little silk fraying. SEE PHOTOS. Just a very interesting Chinese Scroll Painting with interesting subject matter and markings.
