Fine old Chinese Yixing Stoneware Teapot. The whole teapot was carved into a special elegant shape. On one surface it was carved with beautiful landscape. On the other surface it was incised with eight Chinese characters da jiang dong qu, ming yue xi lai, which means "The big river flows to the east. The bright moon rises from the west."The material of this teapot is soft and smooth. On the bottom it was signed by the artist Shi Dashan who was a famous teapot maker in Ming dynasty. The condition is very good withno cracks or repairs.
