I have up for sale one of the finest antique cabinet makers / carpenter\'s chest that I have had the pleasure of owning . It features a fitted interior with the first section being removable - it has two lidded sections and is shown outside the box in one of my pics , the middle section is not removable -it has two drawer pulls and slides from front to back - there is also a section on the inside front of the middle section that has a device for storing tools - you might be able to notice it in one of my pics , the underside of the lid has areas for holding your saws, and the very bottom has a board that divides it horizontally. Included is the key for the lock , the lock works - every time its closes the mech locks, do keep track of the key. I will place it in a plastic baggy and tape it on the lid of the chest.
The inside of the box measures approx 36\" wide by approx 18\" deep.The chest is much nicer when viewed in person, my pics do not do it justice.This chest could easily function as a coffee table, the galvanized top makes it perfect for this as do the dimensions.Fantastic original green / green blue paint and wonderfully done galvanized top and corner sections make it perfect for any industrial vintage decor. The wear is just enough to show its character but not enough to detract.Its nice and large but not too large.The top of the chest measures approx 39-3/4\" wide by about 21-1/4\" deep, and it stands approx 21\" from the ground when including the casters. Measures a bit wider when including the iron handles add approx an 1\" or so in each side. It weighs approx 105 lbs or so.
The saw is not included in the sale although it is shown in the pics. No tools are included , just the chest.

Here are a few of the shipping choices which are at my discretion. I have a hauler that covers approx 30 states, contact me prior to purchase to make sure that you are in his coverage area. SPEED-DEE DELIVERY which delivers to only a handful of states but is very reasonable. They offer service to Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, South Dakota, and in limited areas of Missouri - mainly the St. Louis area , and North Dakota. The other option is for FedEx.
I can only give an approx time table on delivery for my hauler but he usually does things pretty quick , a lot of it depends on where he is in his normal route and when I can get him the item. I must have your phone number so he can contact you with an ETA.
If I choose FedEx I will have a box specially made to package the chest, the box will be lined with 1-1/2\" sheets of polystyrene to help protect it . IT WILL TAKE APPROX 3 - 5 DAYS TO GET THE BOX MADE, AS I HAVE A SPECIALTY COMPANY MAKE BOXES FOR ME.
THE APPROX SIZE OF THE BOX WILL BE 46\" LONG, 26\" DEEP, 25\" TALL, AND WILL WEIGH ROUGHLY 125 LBS OR SO.
I ONLY GET TO FEDEX ONCE A WEEK AND ITS USUALLY ON THE WEEKENDS , SO THERE MAY BE A DELAY OF SEVERAL DAYS DEPENDING ON WHEN YOU MAKE PURCHASE AND WHEN YOU PAY.
If you live in Northern Illinois , I may be able to work out a delivery or meet you half way at a reduced price, meaning I would knock something off the sold price. This would have to be worked out prior to purchase.UPON RECEIVING THE ITEM or ITEMS - ONLY THROW OUT THE BOX or BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM or ITEMS AND ARE HAPPY THAT THERE ARE NO DAMAGES other than what is shown in the pics or noted in the condition report.
IN THE RARE EVENT YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM AND IT IS DAMAGED -CONTACT ME ASAP - KEEP THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS JUST AS THE ITEM ARRIVED AS THEY WOULD BE NEEDED TO HELP PROCESS THE INSURANCE CLAIM. YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE INSURANCE CLAIM . SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING , YOU WOULD NEED PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND PICS OF THE DAMAGED ITEM. WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL.
