Old Havasupai Apache Indian Twined Basket circa 1969 by Phoebe Tapija. Measures7\"tall X 5 3/8\" across. Made by Phoebe Tapija. This old basket had a note in it with the makers name and address wrote on it. The note was on a receipt from Hualapai trading co. peach springs Ariz. and it is dated 1969. Phoebe was one of the few basket makers in Havasupai and now there are even less. A very unique piece the rim is none with leather any way I think its leather. Its in very goodcondition.
