Up for sale and fresh out of a Fine Old estate comes this Fine late 19th century Japanese porcelain Figure! This Stunning Well sculptured & Heavy Porcelain Bijin is Hand painted and HandDecorated in Moriage Enamel withVery Fine Detailing over the entire Figure and lots of Gilding over much of the Kimono. The face has exceptional detail and depth to the eyes..Very Lovely and serene from every angle, the Figure epitomizes the beauty of Young Women, and she wears the Traditional Kimono and hair of Japanese Culture. She stands an impressive 18-1/2\" tall and is Heavy (weighs 9 lbs)and also has Japanese marks in red on the bottom underside. She is in Good condition for its age with lite wear to the gilding. No chips or cracks but the Head was broken off and into several piecesmany years ago and it was Professionallyglued back together and putback on(see photo) and that\'s it. No other damage. Any ways, this is an Exquisite example of late 19th century Japanese porcelain! Please see my other sales for another Beautfiul 19thc Geisha Figure from the same estate.
