When I purchased this old pinking machine, the tag detailed that it was from the early 1900s. It is a very heavy pinking machine, very nice and solid. It weighs at least 5 pounds. Part of the original company name can be seen on the front of the pinking machine. It was made by the Columbus Coated Fabrics Corporation, and Columbus. I assume it means Columbus, Ohio.It has been cleaned and the above picture shows that I was able to use it to pink 3 different fabric pieces, a lightweight cotton, a piece of wool, and a piece of faux leather fabric. I assume it will also be able to cut leather. Please check for any oil on the blade before cutting fabric. I will pay for the insurance to ship this very nice old pinking machine. I am not sure about the cost of postage, if the estimate is high, I will refund the difference to you.
