A stunning stereoview of the San Juan Mission in Monterey County, taken by California photographer Thomas Houseworth. Dated on back by owner 1884 but probably made in the 1870s. Features a seated priest reading a book and two other men. A few other early California stereoviews are also for sale.Card measures 7\" x 3.5\" and is in good condition. The prints have amazing detail and contrast, and of course an awesome 3D effect!
