This old Halloween item was found at a local estate sale. The elderly lady who I talked to at the sale said this item belonged to her father and it had been around for a very long time. The pumpkin head seems to be made out of a nylon or cheesecloth type of material. you can see through it very easily. The head has a wire frame and is attached to stick by twisted copper wire. there are a couple of places where the material has started to separate. There is a spot above the mouth, and a couple of places along the frame. The cloth is still stretched tight and the separation is very minor. From the top of the stem on the head to the bottom where it attaches to stick measures 15\" in length. The widest part of the pumpkin head is right at 10\" across. The old stick measures 30\" in length. Overall this item is right at 45\" long.You can tell that this has been carried around a lot.
