Up for sale is a pair of vintage WWII Military? Swift 7 x 50 Binoculars Serial No. 118821.This is what I think possibly the earliest Swift model ever made? Very rare on the market.This binocular set has typical sharp contrasting images found in early Japanese binoculars handmade in occupied Japan.Dating this model is difficult as the serial numbers don\'t comply with Swifts norm but 1950 would be a good guess. Bk7 prisms. Field7.1º.Everything inside looks crystal clear like new. The focusing is smooth and flawless, & collimation is perfect!Amazing sharp images transform every view.A practical classic model, especially an item for those interested in early Japanese Binoculars.
Coated alludes to \"Transmax\" coating, as denoted byouter lenses have both a violet and deep blue reflection.Black hard leather and lacquering surrounds the lightweight magnesium metal body. Featuresthe earlier type hard eyecups instead of modern roll-down rubber. Note: The rubber ones will fit your binocular and may be supplied by Swift upon request!Some lightdeteriorationof the black enamel paint on top and bottom. Please see pictures for up close detail.
Comes with a georgeous genuine Cowhide leather case and strap. Some wear and tear to the clasp springs as you can see. Strap reads: \"Geniune Split Cowhide.\"
