OLD VTG POST WWII 1950\'s US ARMY 13 STAR BUTTONS SOLDIERS FATIGUE UNIFORM SHIRT WW2
This offering is for an original early circa 1950\'s Post WWII Soldiers Fatigue Shirt or Tunic. The tunic is made of olive drab cotton with a typical two pocket design having square corner exposed button pockets, on the shoulder is a 12th Army Corps patch. The gold on black \"US ARMY\" strip patch is still in place as is the black on white name strip. The stitching is also very light in color being a yellowish white. The condition is excellent and complete with all of the original metal 13 star buttons except one which was replaced with a make do metal button at some point. The shirt has minimal wear, no rips, no tears amd no repairs. There are no contract tags, size tags or stamping visible. The actual current measurements are as follows:
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam 16\"
Top of collar to bottom of waist 28\"
Chest pit to pit 21\" or a dia of 42\"
Waist side to side 21\" or a dia of 42\"\"
Sleeve length shoulder seam to bottom of cuff 22.5\"
The condition is outstanding as stated above and it displays beautifully. The shirt is also very clean and quite ready to wear.
