This is an exceptional fineviolin labelled: \"Vincentius Postiglione me fecit Neap. 1885\".

This violin is ready toplay. The length of back is 359 mm. The whole length is 591 mm.

Two pieces back of beautiful maple wood, the ribs and scroll are made ofthe same material that is exceptionally beautiful, the top is made of a highquality spruce. Thevarnish is very rich and has a golden brown color, only it has minorscratches and dents through use. This instrument is presently in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs.
