Features: This is a very nice older vintage (1948 to 1950\'s) pendant necklace .Both pendant and chain are all made of sterling silver with pendant having domeoval cabochon cut natural picture agate gemstone of excellent quality. Stone isapprox 24.5 cts. I\'ve always been fascinated by this type of stone due to it hasthe creature\'s hand of natures own art. Stone has beautiful scenery. Pendant isconsidered rare. BeautifullyGaudalajara Mexican hand craftedby pioneerGaudalajara and Taxco pioneer Jose Luis Flores who was the jewelry silversmithdesigner for both Emma and Miguel. Pre-dates his post 1950\'s Taxco shop. Hasvery impressive smith workmanship in an eye catching earlier retro tribal design,having nice raised laced motif. Background is NOT enameling nor tarnish but firedheated portion of the silver. Chain is approx of same era an an ideal match for thistype of pendant. It\'s an older Italian rope design. Has round spring clasp whichsecures just fine .It\'s heavy. Total weighs 44.4 grams.It was verywell kept and in excellent condition .

Pendant (from bail to bottom)is 3.1 inches tall and a little over 2 inches wide . Also, has older eagle mark yet not sureif there\'s number or symbol inside. Chain \"925\" (representing sterling) and ITALY\" , assayed in ovalcartouche, (PRE-dating post 1966 pointed side rectangle cartouche of pointed side).
