Features:This is a very nice older vintage (1948 to 1950) solid adjustable bracelet.Beautifully Taxco Mexican hand crafted. Considered very rare.An earlier designby Felipe Martinez of his earlier Piedra Y Plata (Stone and Silver) shop. He worked under Hubert Harmon from 1944 to 1947 and began crafting forhis own shop in 1948 andincorporated his shop as the Piedra Y Plata Taller in 1950. Bracelet was made during thetransition of leaving Harmon\'s shop and begining his own shop. He had some of his earlierwork re-stamped when he registered his shop in 1948 as eagle 3 under the LBG mark. Hasimpressive smith workmanship in an eye catching retro modernist design . Has a goodweight to it .Weighs approx 27 grams (as in 26.9 grams).It was verywell kept and in excellent condition .
Fitting and Measurements: Will adjust to fit from a size 6 inch wrist up to a size 7inch wrist . Inner circumference is 5.5 inches PLUS 1.25 inch inner gap whichyou can alterby bending or stretching . For example, it will stretch out a little over1/4 inch extra, bringingtotal inner circumference (including gap) over 7 inches.Width (as in height) is nearly 1/2 inch(as in 11.5 mm) with sides tapering to 1/3 inch and slightly over 1/4 inch at ends .
Hallmark and Marks: \"STERLING, MEXICO\" with domestic sterling mark \"925\" and \"LBG\",a rare mark of Piedra Y Plata (Stone and Silver) which was Felipe Martinez\'s shop he first usedwhen he opened his first shop. Has shop\'s earlier fancy style eagle with \"3\" inside. Also, hasextra near faded rare mark \"MEXICO\" (indicating re-stamping ,used in his transitional periodwhen he left Harmon\'s shop in 1948).
