The case has personal engraving from the 1970s - a company gold watch gift (Arnott Motteram Menz Pty Ltd - of note for arnott biscuits and menz chocolates)The band while original could do with replacement - still usable it is starting to wear as per pics (mostly underside though so still aesthetically pleasing) Pictures form part of the description. The watch itself would benefit from professional clean to the back but as seen in pics the face is great. Date mechanism is working but needs to be worn regularly to keep accurate. The watch needs to be worn regularly as automatic.Zero rating buyers will be cancelled unless prior contact is made.With a service and new band this watch would easily be in the $1500-$2000 range for value - but even \'as is\' it is a very nice watch that I regularly wear. The watch is priced low - taking into consideration that it if serviced it would be at optimum value. But works great regardless.
