bio:
Born in 1975 in Israel, Oren from a very young age felt
passionate about photography. He received his first camera
when he was about eight years old and started to document
his friends. Only at the age of 27, after struggling between his dreams
and ideas of practicality, did he decided to study to become
a professional photographer. He studied multi-media at
Sivan Collage in 1999-2002 and then photography at "The
Studio" Art College in Ra'anana, Israel in 2003-2004. Always driven by a concept, Oren describes himself as a
documentary photographer eager to provoke his audience
with messages and raw images that most people shy away
from. Each frame Oren captures is about a dialogue
between 2 – 3 elements … it’s the dialogue that inspires his
work. Today, Oren works as a freelance public relation
photographer and specializes in jewelry, products, fashion
and special processing effects. However, Oren prefers
dedicating most of his time to his art and finding ways to
getting his messages heard.
