YOU ARE BUYING ONE 45 RPM BOOKEND - YOU HAVE TO BUY TWO TO HAVE A SET. Please note that you are buying an individual bookend - therefore, you may want to buy at least two items so you will have a set of bookends. The bookend(s) may make an interesting conversation piece or a great gift for a “true fan” of the particular artist, song or record label. They can also be great “reminders” of a favorite time in your life. The first two listing photos show a single 45 RPM Record used to hold DVD\'s against the inner wall of a “built in” bookcase. The last two listing photos show a pair of 45 RPM Records used as a traditional bookend. The first use actually makes the 45 more visible and stand out as a unique item on the book shelf. If you want a pair, you can match artists in those cases where I offer different 45\'s of the same artist. However, in many cases, I have only one copy for a particular artist so you would select a different artist to form the pair. Please remember that the records are used and may be very old. They have been given an alcohol scrub for cleanliness but probably have surface wear, scratches, etc. (However, I use only records that would be classified as Very Good or higher if they were to be sold as functional records) . The approximate dimensions are : Height 5 1/4 inches; Width 6 3/4 inches; Base (the bent portion) 1 5/8 inches. The base is of sufficient width that the bookends can be used for DVD’s, CD’s and paperback books. They should not be used for hardback books.
