Early first generation Onza Bar Ends

How often do you see Onza bar ends from this early? These game on a 1989 Ritchey that I purchased. and were likely added to that bike soon after Onza appeared on the market. These have quill extensions that go into the end of the bar to hold them in place - very early, very over built, very cool!

The bar ends show wear, and one of them is missing the plastic insert that covers the end of the bar (you can likely scavenge one from new bar ends).
