Opulent 8 Light Vintage French Crystal and Bronze Chandelier:

Anabsolutelygorgeous chandelier with masses ofembossed detailing andshimmering withmulti faceted crystal drops.

Thepressed brass ceiling roseis impressed withplumes of feathers risingfrom the centre and a stippled detail around the rim.The chainbelow is made up of alternate plain and embossed fancy links.

At the top ofthebronze central column is a beautifully patterned traceryrose.Below this the columntapersoutward from the slender neck withan elegant collonaded section to a stunning centrepiece intricately embossed with stunning acanthus leaves on both sides. A very decorative embossedcapital is below thissitting above a plain bronze finial in thecentre of the chandeliers mid section.The top and base here are identical with vividly impressed acanthus leaves ans fine detailing in the middle. A plain bronze band encircles the centre.

From here extend the eight slender and elegant arms. With discreet fluting they have a graceful upward curve and a high plumed spuron the inner end.Each one is enhanced by threelarge pairs ofshimmering multi facetedcrystal drops. At the end of the arms are small flowershaped candle cups .The beautiful cut glass candle holders have prettily scalloped rims with starburst fluting in the centre and dimples cut in around the centre, each onehas anotherfourpairs of shimmering crystals attached. All are complete with faux candle sleeves.

This lusciouschandelier is completedby a lovely bronze finial and large multi faceted crystal globe in the centre of the base.

This stunningchandelieris inexcellent vintage conditionandthe lustre of thesparkling crystals is warmly reflected in the lovely agedpatina of the bronze.

With over 100 glittering crystal drops and stunning cut glass cups, this splendid chandelier with its lavish decorationand remarkable attention to detail will bring vintage chateau style glamour to any setting.

The height can easily be adjusted by removing chain links

The chandelier is fully functional and takes8small screw inbulbs (not included), however as with all vintage lighting it should be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
