This is just one of a few different, original Vintage Model Car, Truck and Hot Rod Kits that I currently have at sale. Check out my \"other sales\" for info on the other ones. Happy to combine your sale \"wins\" to save you shipping costs!! . . . . . on this original 1960s vintage AMT Trophy-series 1/25-scale plastic Double Dragster model kit. AMT kit #T-161:200. Molded in red with lots of great parts allowing you to build two complete dragsters. The contents are mint, unassembled and appear to be complete, but may not be. Included are all tires and wheels, metal axles, the hard-to-find \"A DAY AT THE DRAG STRIP\" booklet, the decal sheet and the instruction booklet. This very scarce AMT NHRA eight-page \"A DAY AT THE DRAG STRIP\" booklet features “Ingenuity In Action”, “A Day At The Drag Strip”, “The History Of The Dragster”, “The History Of The Altered/Coupe/Sedan”, “The Official Timing Units”, “Glossary” and “Typical Drag Strip Layout”. This fun booklet is in super-sharp condition with no scribbles, writing, torn or loose pages. Nothing has been assembled or painted. The Fiat car body is super-straight and the window posts are nice and straight and aren\'t bent or broken. The big decal sheet looks just-about perfect. Almost all of the many chrome-plated parts and many of the red parts are still on their sprues, as you may be able to see in the photos. This kit has been sitting in my smoke-free and, generally, dust-free Model Kit collection for many years. The original purchaser/collector long-ago placed the tires into a small baggie, thereby preventing the tires from doing any damage to the other plastic model kit parts. The Double Dragster box looks good with bright, vivid colors but does show some obvious edge wear, as shown in the photos. There are no split corners on either of the box-halves. A very fun older AMT dragster kit in a still nice box. Makes a terrific addition to any Model Car or Funny Car/Dragster collection! Again, unassembled and unpainted and looks to be complete but may not be, as clearly noted above. Sold \"as-is\"; please check out all of the photos carefully!
