WWII era ca. 1945 US Navy blood chit from Shanghai. I am not sure if this was made as a souvenir in Shanghai after the war had ended or if it was actually made for the intended purpose. It is leather and about 9.5\" x 7.5\". The following passage about Shanghai and the US Navy was found online:\"One such voyage that is well remembered by me was when my ship USS MAKIN ISLAND CVE-93 was ordered to Shanghai, China.
