Up for sale is an original 1954 dated \"Mk 2 Type X\" parachute harness. The Mk 2 X type harness was introduced with the British Airborne late in WW2 and saw service right through till the mid 1950s where it was replaced by the Mk 3 harness which I believe was brown in colour.
Comes in excellent condition with all the stitching still intact and a post war quick release box.
A very rare item now and excellent for any WW2 British Airborne / Para collection.
