Framed 2 cel setup of Prince Derek with a reproduction background. I believe
the cels are 16 field since the mat opening is 8” X 12”, which would only allow for
a ¼” setback for framing on the sides. This is an educated guess since I
have never had it unframed since my ownership. Condition:
The cel and background are both near mint to mint, there are no visual flaws.
The frame is in excellent condition (very minor marks), with a very small/almost unnoticeable
¼\" mark on the plexiglass & a small puncture in the rear dust cover near the strap hanger.Other Information:
A nice and large image of the second main character from an animated fantasy
musical film based on the ballet, \"Swan Lake\". It would complement the other cel that
I am selling of Princess Odette.

information about the piece, it reads as follows:Production cel setup from the 1994 animated film, “The Swan Princess”In the previous scene Prince Derek and Princess Odette are in a split scene singing
a duet about their anticipated and obligatory upcoming wedding. Their reluctance turns
to assurance as they sing about one another eventually meeting in a large hall.
In this cel he stares at her and starts out with his first line, “...she started out as such
an ugly duckling...” (referencing to their initial meeting as young children)
ending with, “...and somehow suddenly became a swan.”
This movie received a 1995 Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song,
”Far Longer Than Forever”.
It was directed by Richard Rich, a former Disney Animation Director.
A cel layer of the eyes is placed upon the cel of Derek and has been arranged
on top of a reproduction background. Shipping:
