This came out of my Grandmother-in-Law\'s home in Prophetstown, Illinois. She was an big time collector of antiques and specialized in Black Americana and Native American. Her grandmother was Native American and the home she lived in was part of the Underground Railroad and if she were alive today she would be 125.

When I first looked at this piece I immediately knew the Daniel Boone/Davey Crockett outfit was what piqued her interest. It was as I prepared it for pictures that I realized it was a Steiff. It measures around 9\"-10\" give or take, I don\'t know what the factory specs are. Beyond this I don\'t know it\'s history, I don\'t know why it\'s dressed as it is, what year etc...but he is unique and 1 of a kind as shown, I\'ve never seen another dressed the same. The clothes alone are likely valued at least $200-$300 if not more. He is amazing, and it\'s next owner wil be lucky to have him

Pictures were taken inside and on a WWI Ammunition box, didn\'t come out as great as I thought they would so if you need some more let me know. I didn\'t want to undress him for fear of breaking something plus I\'ll never get the clothes back on.
