This cart is an early 1900\'s industrial original, once used to transport furniture, fabric and supplies across the factory floor. Each cart is a vintage original, with variations in distressing that has been preserved during the restoration process making each one truly unique and one of a kind.
Founded by Charles Francis Lineberry, these carts were manufactured at the Lineberry Foundry in N. Wilkesboro, NC. With the purchase of this cart you will receive information about Charles Lineberry, history of the cart purchased and a picture of the old Lineberry Foundry. Restoration The top has been sanded, stained and a protective clear coat has been applied to give it a smooth satin finish. Please look closely at the age and distressing of the top of the cart, I have made sure to preserve the vintage look of the cart during the restoration process. Don\'t be fooled by knock offs! These carts have been used in a factory so if you do not see the nicks, scratches and dings then it is not original but a reproduction of the Lineberry carts. The top boards on my carts are 100% original and have not been replaced.The cast iron hardware has been cleaned and given a protective clear coat. I have not stripped the hardware down to the bare metal. I have preserved the natural patina of the cast iron so as to maintain the antique look of the cart. A set screw has been added to each end wheel. This allows for leveling and eliminates the end to end rocking. An Allen wrench will be shipped with the cart.
