Up forsale is a wonderful find—an increasingly rare 1952 Chad Valley CoronationTeddy Bear. He was made to commemorate the 1953 coronation of Queen ElizabethII, and boasts bright, vivid colors of red, white and blue to resemble theUnion Jack. He retains remnants of his original Chad Valley label.

Condition:

• Made ofearly 1950s synthetic plush, his beautiful, vivid red/white/blue colors arebright and unfaded; but the white has darkened with age into a dark cream/ecrucolor. His entire back is a fabulous dark royal blue color.

• 17” talland unjointed.

• Original blackfelt nose and mouth stitching, and original, bright royal blue plastic eyes.

• Soft-stuffed.

• Retainsold red, white and blue ribbon — I don’t think it’s original, but I don’t know.

• Retainsremnants of his original Chad Valley label.

This lovely Chad Valley Coronation Bear has no stains or odors, and comes from a smoke-free Environment. If you have cat allergies, however, please be aware that I have cats.
