Here for your consideration is a very nice and 100% original cast iron \"Cabin\" mechanicalbank. This bank was produced in Cromwell CT by the esteemed J&E Stevens Co. and patented on June 2nd 1885. This is the green cabin variation with excellent strong color; there are no cracks or damage to the castings and no touchup or repaint. A 100% original example of a classic black Americana mechanical bank to add to your collection. The action is strong: place a coin in the slot on the roof, pull the broom handle and the figure flips up and kicks the coin into the bank; it works perfectly.
