ABOUT COLOR GUIDES: Color Guides are an original hand-colored piece of production art prepared by the color artist. The hand-coloring was done on a black and white photocopy of the original inked artwork. The artist then added numerical color code notations in the margins and/or in the body of the artwork. In some cases the cover art is cut out and pasted or taped onto another sheet of paper where the notations are written. In some cases, where shown in the photos, there may be one or more transparent overlay with additional coloring, titles or notations on it. In some cases, where shown in the photos, there are separate pieces of cut out paper with titling or alternate color schemes.
CONDITION: This original artwork was used in the production process so it may have staple holes or staple pulls, bent corners, small tears, tape or white out, glued or taped on sections, or whatever the artist needed for their process. It may have handwritten numerical color code notations in the margins and in some cases in the body of the image.
