Original 1918 French lithographsupporting the Fourth National Defense Loan, a national war bond drive during the final year of the war. This design was commissioned by the Crédit Lyonnais, one of France\'s oldest and largest banks. Image shows a Frenchsoldier stabbing a Reichsadler, the black eagle of Prussian heraldry and symbol of German military aggression.Dimensions are43 x 30 inches. Newly linen backed (10 oz cotton canvas + 100 lb cotton paper) and acid-neutralized. Excellent condition.
