For your consideration is thisbeautifully designed table lamp by Gilbert Rohde featuring the most wonderful finial, stacked plate base, stacked disc curved stem, and original shade with a similar speed line shaped design. The large finial allows for easy movement of the rotating lamp head. I think that it is remarkable that even though the shade is inverted, the shade and holder are engineered and constructed to such exacting standards that the shade issecured by nothing but its own friction. While the lamp works well, the white replacement chord likely only goes to the original switch, so a rewiring is recommended. The lamp measures about 10 1/2\" tall.

Condition:Overall good with some exceptions. There are a few smallchips to the bulb facing edge of theglassshade, but no cracks or other damage. There is a small edge dent to the lip of the glass holder, but otherwise no dents. There is wear to the white enameled base, revealing the copper beneath. One of the copper feet was missing and I replaced it (screwed on) asimilarly shaped black plastic piece.Even though it works well, the wiringand switch should be replaced.
