Hand Painted and Original Halloween KEEPSAKE BOX with Sexy Witchy Kitty Black Cat by FEDERICO

This is an ORIGINAL OOAK (one of akind) Hand Painted Halloween Folk Art KEEPSAKE BOX by Pacific Northwest artistBecky Federico (me), of Federico Fantasy Art.It has been painted in acrylics on an actual repurposed wooden cigar box(Casino Royale Cigars).

The box lid features my creation ofsexy Witchy Kitty witch cat wearing a corset and holding a Jack-o-Lantern candybasket. This was painted on an artcanvas panel then mounted onto the box. The front of the box features a witchpumpkin lady. I kept half of the boxunpainted to show the beautiful grain of the wood and dovetails. The painted background of the box has beencrackled and age-stained and pumpkins are painted on the sides. I added a brassbox latch (which is very tight when locking) and painted wooden feet.

The inside has been lined with 100+year old antique papers, new colored papers, black Dresden paper trim,lettering, copper and glitter paint.

This heavy box measures approximately7-3/4\" wide, by 8-1/2\" deep (measuring front to back), by 5-1/4\"tall including feet.

Lots of detail abound and theoriginal is even much better in person!It has been signed and dated by me, 2015. Since this was once a cigar box, you willfind slight imperfections in the wood which only add to the charm andpersonality of the completed piece of art.Keep in mind that the wooden cigar boxes I use were originally made byhand in South America or Central America.
