Great little old oil on canvas painting. This was in my grandmothers estate and I don\'t know anything about it. I took this to the Antique Road Show in Phoenix several years ago for some information on it. The artist signature is Mauritz? and they thought the origin was Bavaria, they found 3 pin holes in the canvas when held to the light which I did not notice. The colors are bright with 2 cows, a farmer, and mountain forests. The frame is ornate and painted gold. Painting is 7 X 9 inches and with the frame it is 11 1/4 X 13 1/2 inches. The ornate frame has only minor blemishes and no loss and was estimated to be original. The estimate of date was early 1900s and the value was $150.
