Now that I have your attention, what a sad little stock this is. An original 1861 Springfield stock that had been cut down long ago as a shotgun. Then, a previous owner got the good idea of cutting the buttstock off! So, here it sits in all its glory awaiting someone to nurture it back to health. Practically, the side lock washers and ramrod stop are still on the stock. It has some nice side panels, and that’s about it...
