ALL TURKISH POSTERS ARE FROM THE FIRST RELEASE IN TURKEY. THERE ARE ONLY A COUPLE MOVIE POSTER COLLECTORS IN TURKEY, SO, THERE IS NO REASON FOR REPRINTS, MANY OF THESE POSTERS HAVE BEEN IN STORAGE SINCE EITHER RETURNED TO THE DISTRUTORS WAREHOUSE OR IN FACT HAVE NEVER LEFT, SOME ARE STILL IN THEIR ORIGINAL ROLLS SINCE PRINTED, THE ARTWORK IS SOMETIMES ORIGINAL WHICH IS EXTREMELY COLLECTABLE, AND SOME HAVE VERY INTERESTING USE OF ADDING GRAPHICS TO THE ARTWORK OF THE U.S. OR OTHER COUNTRIES POSTER ART. I HAVE SEEN A FEW OF THE TITLES FLOATING AROUND , SOME THAT THE SELLER DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT COUNTRY IT CAME FROM, SO, THERE IS SOME WONDERFUL MOVIE POSTER HISTORY IN THESE POSTERS.
In the beginning of the 60\'s, some Turkish movie companies (Ipek, Tual, Guven, Ozen, Sunar, Feza, etc.) were importing the movies directly from America and Europe generally in the same year of release. However some movies such as a few oscar winners or popular movies were brought in later, After the middle of 60\'s Turkish distribution companies and Warner Bros film took business more seriously, and movies played at the same time as Europe and America. Turkish movie companies hold movie posters in their warehouses. It is very diffucult to reach to these places. The companies are very serious about destroying these posters, and usually these posters go directly to the paper factory to be recycled
