Has never been framed or shown; has been kept stored away ever since, and is in excellent condition.The photo is 7-1/2 inches x 9-1/2 inches, mounted on off-white Crescent (brand) heavy mounting board 14 inches x 18 inches. It is signed in full by Ansel Adams, in pencil, lower right, on the mounting board. It was taken by Ansel Adams with a Hasselblad camera. (The poor photos shown here were taken with a Kodak!)The photo\'s subject is a research scientist by a Jeep, in Coyote Canyon, at the University of California Deep Canyon Desert Research Station, located in the Southern California portion of the Sonoran Desert. Ansel Adams was commissioned to photograph the University\'s various facilities to illustrate a special 1968 Centennial book. This photo was taken by Ansel Adams to present to its present owner. The back of the mounting board bears the Ansel Adams stamp for the project and hand-written data about the location and date, etc. There is also a bold inked statement reading: \"Not printed at University expense. Must not be reproduced.\"A very rare Ansel Adams photograph indeed!
