This is a beautiful original vintage A. Santini cherub/angel/putti sculpture lamp.

I would estimate it dates circa 1950s.

The entire lamp measures 28 3/4 inches tall (73 cm). The statue itself measures 17 inches tall (43.2 cm). The base measures 9 inches wide by 6 inches deep (22.9 cm x 15.2 cm).

Almicare Santini, an Italian sculptor (1910–1975), created a number of different sculptures. This one however, is very rare.

Santini\'s sculptures look like marble, but they\'re actually a hard, sturdy and heavy composition made of molded marble dust and resin. Santini would pour this into a mold, but then finish his sculpture off by hand. He exhibited great quality and craftsmanship.

This lamp is in very good condition. The only issue I see is the piece on top, below the lamp arch is slightly warped. The small cylindrical piece just above that was probably added in order to make the lamp. There are a few spots with some embedded dirt, but otherwise, it looks wonderful.
