Very nice Aladdin Tall Lincoln Drape Alacite oil lamp complete with burner and Lox-On chimney. Nu-Type Model B...Made in Chicago, ILL USA. The mantle is missing the flame spreader. Original from the 1940\'s - not a reproduction.

The Alacite base alone measures about 10 1/4\" tall; measures approx. 13 1/2\" to top of burner; and 16 3/4” to top of mantle.. Chimney alone is approx 12 1/2” tall. Altogether, when all combined, it stands a very impressive 25” tall!!

In wonderful condition. There is some oxidation on the burner assembly unit, and I\'m not familiar enough with the lamp parts to know what should screw off from what, so I didn\'t want to force anything to take pictures. I took apart what came loose easily. Wick riser works, but knob is somewhat difficult to turn...I’m sure some TLC will help it loosen. I took a picture of the wick receded, and one with the wick up, so you can see that it does work. The wick inside the reservoir is still white, so I don’t think the lamp has ever been used. It also comes complete with the Lox-On chimney that screws onto the burner assembly very securely. This is an awesome specimen if you\'re looking for this model.

When put up to a black light strip, the alacite on this lamp glows green where the light abuts right up to the lamp.

According to Aladdincollector.com, \"Originally Alacite glass contained Uranium oxide as a coloring agent, but its use was banned by the government in 1942 because of the development of atomic weapons in the war effort. You will often hear the terms \"old formula\" and \" new formula\" used in reference to lamps made of Alacite. The old formula contained the Uranium oxide, and will glow a yellow green color under a black light, while the new formula without the Uranium oxide will not.\"
