Original Vintage December 13, 1969 The Black Panther Party Newspaper Volume lll, No. 2 with cool Emory Douglas Artwork, Fred Hampton Murdered. This original vintage Black Community Newspaper is in good condition for its age, with age toning, edge wear & fading on the cover fold.Please look at the photos closely to get a good look before offerding. It measures 11 1/2\" x 17 1/2\". All 20 pages are there. This is Volume lll Number 2 from December 13, 1969.. The bright red cover features Black Panther Fred Hampton, who was murdered on Dec. 4, 1969. Some of the articles include: Fred Hampton murdered by police, Genocide on BPP, Seize the Time-Submit or Fight, Landon & Rory in Court, Statement from Claude Lightfoot, chairman of the Communist party in Illinois, Black Panther Party Solidarity committee in Frankfurt, Germany, Police Attack Southern California chapter of the BPP in the centerfold, Huey\'s Appeal & an ad for a General Strike Mass Rally at the LA City Hall on Dec. 11 to protest the LA Police Department\'s continuing attacks on the Black Panthers & the Black Community. There\'s also apeculiar ad where you can order a dozen Revolutionary Season\'s Greeting Cards with designs by Emory. The perfect way to say Merry Christmas!As usual, there\'s wonderful graphic art by the Black Panther Minister of Culture, the Revolutionary artist, Emory Douglas, the front & back covers are worthy of framing.It\'s a remarkable newspaper that makes you feel that some things never change, especially when it comes to the injustices against Black Americans. It\'s an interesting vintage political newspaper for any Black Panther Party collector.
