This poster, almost Art Deco style, shows a beautiful, young Joan of Arc, wearing her bodice fitted cuirass, and holding her broad sword up to heaven. The background is dramatic dark blue, with white center light coming down, and bathing Joan. The copy includes Joan of Arc Saved France, Save Your Country, Buy War Savings Stamps. Smaller print tells us WSS War Savings Stamps, Issued by the US Treasury Department. This poster, 20\"x30\", is in contemporary poster frame. The posteris in very good condition with some lose at the marginsbut they really do not detract from the subject, and tone, of this art work. Very rare example.
