This was bought by myself from a antique(junk) shop in hull in 1973.

The story was that a local chap bought scrap Jerry helmets after the war and began to turn out coal scuttles.The four knobs are brass as is the handle which bolts using the chin strap lug holes,this then is an M16/M17 type.I have not looked too hard for maker marks however judging by its horns it is at least a size 66.There are no dents or cracks,it is very sound.ps.I am 62!!
