Original WW2 KW VN US M1 Medic Helmet Swivel Bale Front Seam Named Helmet!Excellent set!This set is in very good original condition. Shows some wear from use and age.This helmet has cork finish. Helmet has a 4 panel medic white shield and red cross.Im am not positive of when this was applied. Post ww2? Korean war era or even during Vietnam period.There is a piece of white medical tape with the name Shore G.T. and his number ER11477159.This number from research was used around 1968. This may be when helmet was used in this painted configuration.I have no doubt about the paints age and originality. You please evaluate and be the judge.I have had several helmet experts look at this and give it its blessing! Both straps are securely attached with black painted hardware.Heat stamp reads 352A? SS is for the Schlueter manf. companySwivel bale and front seam.Liner is a Seaman Paper of WW2 period.Exterior of liner exhibits original paint in good condition.Interior suspension is in good complete condition with leather chin strap.Black painted A washers.Great research possibilities!
