Original Ww2 Poster 'the Navy Thanks You' For Sale
This is a fantastic colour poster printed for H.M. Stationery Office by Haycock Press, London. It has the number 51-4102 in the bottom left corner and ISSUED BY THE ADMIRALTY in the bottom right.It is a wonderful graphic illustration of a ship launch and was designed byPat Keely (also known by the name Patrick Cokayne Keely)who died in 1970. His signature is printed in the bottom left corner with the date 43. He also designed posters for London Transport 1933-1962:The poster measures 506 mm by 758 mm and is in amazing condition.It was issued to a shipyard in East Anglia but was never displayed.
